Finches and Mount Hebron students return to Watchung Science Summit to teach Computer Science

Mount Hebron students will return to Watchung Elementary on Friday, May 29, 2015 to teach Finch classes as part of the annual Science Summit.  This year's theme is super hero science and the Mount Hebron team has a list of super hero challenges for the students to endure, complete with costume selections!

Finches Again Fly South to Watchung!

Mount Hebron was asked to be a part of the after school enrichment programming offered at their school in order to  "bring more STEM into the program".

We presented for 8 weeks in the fall and have returned this winter and spring for 8 more weeks, bringing the finches to inexperienced 3-5 grade students.  That is, students who have very little to no knowledge of computing, coding or the platform of Scratch!  We want to increase the pool of young minds interested in coding.
